Olydia's
Old man Pabst knew what he was doing when he built this bar in between the 3rd ward, the 5th ward, and Walkers Point. Back-in-the-day he could draw from all of the neighborhoods, just like today! No spittoons on the floor anymore and women are allowed in now, but the brick and mortar still tell tales of the past. A few tweaks in the last 100 years and here you have it, O’Lydia’s!
Built in the late 1800’s, they only served one beer, PABST! And just a few Whiskeys. Now you can enjoy 16 different tap beers, most are micro brews from your favorite Wisconsin breweries, and any type of liquor you desire.
Old man Pabst never thought of serving tasty food, but we did! Appetizers, sandwiches and great pub food are the specialty but if you need more sustenance, check out the dinner specials.
HAP, HAP, HAPPY HOUR! If you are a happy person, you are invited! If you are having a bad day, you are invited, you will leave happy! 2pm-6pm Monday through Friday and all day on Sunday.
Old man Pabst rented out sleeping rooms upstairs, not us! We have a party room for your meeting or special occasion, (not that a meeting isn’t a special occasion). Enough room for 60 people. Hors’D’oeurves (that’s the French version, the Irish just say ?) or buffets, fully staffed or really, really pampered, just a bartender, or just you. We will accommodate almost anything.
The Legendary open air patio is open from the first glimmer of spring. This year we have a professional landscaper coming in to make it even prettier. The enclosed patio bar will be in-use for your convenience and enjoyment.
Sunday Funday Brunch starts at 10am with a reasonably priced Bloody Mary and usually ends with a nice nap,, at home, unless there is a game on. How about a good old fashioned fried egg sandwich, or an omelet?
SPORTS? DID YOU SAY SPORTS? There isn’t a seat in the house where you will miss a minute of action! If it isn’t on right in front of you, ask your friendly server.
Shuttles to all worthy downtown events and Summerfest.
